About Us

USU Moab is your hometown university. We serve the local community and our region by offering relevant and career-focused programs, including certificates, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees. Our popular majors include Recreation Resource Management, Social Work, and Nursing.

Career & Technical Education programs provide real-word training in health professions (CNA, Medical Assistant, Practical Nursing), tech fields (Automotive Technology, Construction Technology & Management), and business (IT Support & Web Development, Small Business Operations/Entrepreneurism, Software Development). With local faculty, advising, and tutoring, as well as local scholarships, we support our students to reach their goals.

USU Moab is an active community partner that offers resources and creates connections. We work with local industry to provide relevant workforce training programs, and hold an annual Paint the Town Blue event to celebrate our graduates and name the True Blue Aggie Business of the Year. We support local organizations through student service learning, and conduct real-world research that has an impact on our community and region.
